Fikir Sanders

Bio

Fikir Sanders is Director, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Social and Governance Reporting at DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation). DTCC is a Systemically Important Financial Market Utility (SIFMU). In her role she leads social and environmental impact reporting and corporate philanthropy, employee giving and volunteerism. The ESG reporting function was newly established in 2021 to better align with stakeholder expectation and create a company narrative around the social and environmental impact DTCC is making. In this role Fikir partners with SMEs across the organization, including Risk, Compliance, Finance and HR. Prior to taking on this role in 2021, she was manager of corporate social responsibility since 2015 at DTCC where she implemented a corporate philanthropy and employee giving and philanthropy program. Prior to joining DTCC Fikir served in the corporate social responsibility excellence function at Sanofi, a global pharmaceutical company. Prior to joining the corporate responsibility function Fikir worked in External Affairs and Alliance Development with Sanofi and Aventis, a predecessor company. Fikir holds a BA in Biology and an MBA from University of Maryland University College. She is a wife and a mother of an eleven-year-old son and resides in Tampa, FL.
