Courtney Barnard leads Government Affairs and Community Engagement for Verizon in Florida. Her role is to build and grow Verizon's partnerships with government, industry, and nonprofit partners. Courtney is responsible for municipal government affairs and external relations across Florida. Courtney's career has spanned both California and Florida where she has led public policy and grassroots engagement for political campaigns, trade organizations, and the private sector. Courtney is a native of California and a graduate of Scripps College, the women's college of the Claremont University Consortium. She completed her Master's at The University of Central Florida, and holds a certificate in European Union Public Policy from the University of Washington/Université Libre de Bruxelles.
