Dr. Asha S. Collins is a distinguished global life sciences executive with over 25 years of experience driving innovation and growth across the biopharma and healthcare technology industries. As Senior Vice President and General Manager of Biobanks Data Analysis Platforms at DNAnexus, Dr. Collins led a groundbreaking data analysis business to remarkable success. Under her leadership, the platform garnered prestigious recognitions, including the "BioIT World Global Impact Award" and "Bioinformatics Solution of the Year" award. Dr. Collins' career includes additional pivotal roles such as Head of US Clinical Operations at Genentech/Roche, where she led a 600-person team and increased productivity by over 30%, and Vice President & General Manager at McKesson, where she managed a $200M+ P&L, achieving a 12% revenue increase while reducing operating expenses by 30%.
Dr. Collins also sits on two corporate Boards: IDEXX Laboratories (NASDAQ: IDXX) and LifeScience Logistics (Blackstone / private equity). She is a Board of Trustee at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation where she helps drive their drug commercialization efforts. Additionally, she chairs a space health advisory board with Translational Research Institute for Space Health, which is affiliated with NASA.
