Lalita Llerena

Bio

Lalita Llerena serves as the Internal Communications Manager at Tampa Electric, leading a team of professionals to create and deliver content that supports a positive employee experience and promotes brand advocacy. Prior to joining TECO, Lalita served as the Senior Communications Director of the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and YMCA of the Suncoast. In this role, she oversaw all internal and external communications for both nonprofit organizations. Her transition into corporate communications followed her management of a 24-hour local TV news team as an Executive Producer in the Tampa/St. Petersburg market. Before that, she produced, reported, and anchored for TV and radio outlets in Orlando and Gainesville, FL. Lalita graduated with a communications degree from the University of Florida. She resides in Riverview and enjoys exploring Tampa Bay with her children, Daniella and Logan.
