Babiak sits on the board and chairs the Audit Committee of Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc, with its annual global revenues exceeding $120 billion. She also sits on the board of the Bank of Montreal, which has assets of more than $700 billion, and GHD Group, an employee-owned, privately-held, Australian-based engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting firm with more than 200 offices operating in more than 90 countries. She previously served on the board of the Royal Mail, during which time it floated and listed on the UK’s FTSE 100. Beginning in 2010 until its sale in August 2012, she was Audit Committee Chair for Logica plc, a then UK headquartered FTSE 250 technology company. Before starting her ‘portfolio career’, Babiak spent 28 years with Ernst & Young where she held board and global leadership roles over cyber/technology security and risk services; climate change and sustainability services; and regulatory and public policy. A qualified US CPA and UK Chartered Accountant, with global IT security qualifications as well, she has served on the governing body of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2011 as a Council Member and co-chairs the Tennessee Chapter of Women Corporate Directors.
