Community Partnership: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Tampa
The Women’s Conference of Florida is pleased to announce its 2017 community partnership with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Tampa!
Through this partnership, the organizations will work together to recognize and celebrate breast cancer survivors and raise awareness of the disease in an effort to help save lives. During the conference, speaker Samantha Harris will share her inspiring story of her battle with Stage II invasive breast cancer.
The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Each event is a noncompetitive 3 to 5-mile walk that brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The events raise money to fund innovative research, provide free information and support, and to help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it's most treatable.
The Making Strides of Tampa walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Amalie Arena. The Women’s Conference of Florida encourages all of this year’s attendees to take action by joining this walk!
